birthday cake

Tomorrow is my 38th Birthday - wow! I'm old. The girls and I baked our traditional birthday cake and I let them frost and decorate - they were so proud of their work! I know it doesn't look like a perfect cake, but to me it is because they did it...and also this recipe isn't only EASY but it's moist and CHOCOLATE delish!

Triple Chocolate Caporale birthday cake

1 - box of Devil's food cake mix
1 4oz box instant chocolate pudding (don't do sugar free, it's your birthday after all, go all out!)
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. water
1 tsp vanilla

In a big bowl, mix the first three ingredients. In a small bowl, beat the eggs and add in the water and vanilla and mix. Add the wet to the dry until just mixed. Bake in a bundt (already coated with cooking spray) for 55 mins @ 350.  Let cool then frost. You can also do layer cakes. Frost with vanilla or chocolate. Enjoy!
