running a full marathon. Not this year but
maybe possibly next fall. But again when I do run a full, I want to do it annually...I don't just want to 'do it to say I did it'. That's not how I work. One of my college friends is training and doing her first full in a few weeks. I have been following her training as she paces pretty much with me ( I have actually caught up to her HM pr, she used to be way faster than me). But luckily her long runs have slowed her down - if slowing down is 9:00 for an 18 mile run! She has two kiddos and they are a little older than mine....so I am thinking next fall I might have the time. Who knows though.
Right now I just want to keep running and I'm mad that it's so dark in the mornings and so dark at night so my outside runs have been limited to the weekends with our schedules. At least the treadmill is great for speedwork and doing intervals...
I am signed up to do Tower Up this November (through c's firm he works for)- climbing 103 flights up
Sears Tower Willis Tower. I have the endurance but not sure how strong my legs are. Think I am going to try training on the Stair Climb at the gym....
