3 miles....intervals gone bad

I had big plans to do intervals last night. But after my 5 minute warm up at 9:05 I just felt heavy, tired and bored, despite some new music I put on my list (Maneater by Hall and Oates was great, but the OMD Dreaming turned out to be the dance mix, not so much). So I did two intervals at 7:30 then just left it at 8:34 for the rest. No more no less....

why is running on the treadmill so much harder than outside!!!??? It's a mind game I think. 

oh and the scale wasn't THAT bad, I did gain a few pounds but nothing crazy....
