Last night pre-race C and I went out for pizza at Italian Village then for drinks and dessert with one of my BFF from high school and her fiancé at Elephant and Castle below our hotel. I had the Fuller's Porter, yum! And some of C's Harpoon IPA, Bread Pudding and Brownie Sundae - shared of course! It was fun! Our friends left around 11 and we headed up to our hotel room. Now I did drink a ton of water throughout the day and also in between sips of beer. I fell asleep probably about 11:30 and slept through until the alarm clock. Sometimes I don't sleep so good so I lucked out with a good night sleep.
