The excitement is in the air - the electricity in the city is buzzing. I now realize that I DO want to run this next fall. I am secretly making this my goal. I felt this buzz before my first half marathon in Chicago last September. I can only imagine how much more I would feel doing a full in Chicago.
Yes, there are so much more 'prettier' areas to run in...but since Chicago is my home, why not run it on the streets that are near and dear to me.
I so wanted to volunteer on Sunday but my schedule (kids) won't allow it. I am praying and wishing all the runners this Sunday to do their best, run strong, run smart and I hope I'll be with you at the finish line next fall!
