Slow cooker Chicken Caccatoire with penne

I needed to throw together a quick slow cooker meal so that dinner would be ready after ice skating in time for us to watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"! Here is what I threw together and it was Soooo Yum!

1 lb frozen chicken thighs
1. c chicken stock
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 c. chopped carrots
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 package sliced mushrooms
1 c. frozen peas
1 can diced tomatoes
thyme, basil, oregano,garlic, pepper and sea salt

1.  Place frozen chicken in slow cooker, season with garlic powder and a teeny bit of salt. Pour in stock, wine, veggies, tomatoes and season with basil, oregano, pepper and thyme (eye ball it). Cook on low all day. Add in peas right before serving.
2. Cook penne and serve the chicken with sauce over penne. I served with salad and grated cheese.
