I hate when I forgot things at the grocery store. I am OCD about having ingrediants in the house and certain foods for my recipes. You see, each Friday I plan out meals for the next week, starting Sunday-Friday. I make my list based on the recipe needs and go shopping on Friday...99% of the time at Trader Joe's (some at Target and some at our local market down the street). So when I went to the fridge tonight to make dinner, I couldn't believe I did not have CELERY! I looked and looked and could not find it. We ate up the last of our package from last week on Sunday and I swore I saw a new one in there...but it turns out it was just romaine lettuce. I remember going to the section of celery, then telling A to put carrots in her cart but then forgot if I actually put celery in...I guess I did not. Alas, I wasn't able to make my planned meal but instead am doing a jar sauce, frozen meatball spaghetti dinner...can't make everything from scratch right? why do I feel so guilty? I have already told my girls 'We need to go get celery tomorrow' about 5 times...they are like ok mom we get it, you forgot CELERY!
Ah, the life of a type A personality....i'm taking the night off from running to rest my legs. I want to run tonight but know if I rest tonight I will have a better run tomorrow night. Pilates DVD tonight is my plan!
